We’re very excited to announce that MIU has partnered with META Teletherapy to implement a comprehensive mental health counseling platform for students.

META connects students with counselors via an Uber-like app for confidential and secure video, voice, and chat sessions.

Online counseling available to all students

• Students can connect with META providers for private and secure remote therapy. Students can use insurance or pay out-of-pocket


• META allows students to choose their own therapist. Students can filter by gender, language, ethnicity, faith-based counseling, and more. 

META includes supplemental support content

• Buzz is a feature within the app pushing wellness articles, videos, and content for students

A digital marketing campaign, including student-directed email and social media posts, will begin this week encouraging students to download the app and connect with a counselor.

The META app is free to download and allows student access to providers on the platform throughout the year, including over school breaks.
