We’re very excited to announce that LeMoyne-Owen College has partnered with META teletherapy to implement a comprehensive digital mental wellness platform for students.

META connects students with counselors via a mobile app for confidential and secure video, voice, and chat sessions.

Online counseling available to all students

• Students can connect with META providers for private and secure remote therapy. There are a limited number of free sessions available with META providers for students with financial need.

META includes mental/emotional support content

• Buzz is a feature within the app pushing wellness articles, videos, and content for students

A digital marketing campaign, including student-directed email and social media posts, will begin this week encouraging students to download the app and connect with a counselor.

The META app is free to download and allows student access to providers on the platform throughout the year, including over school breaks.
