Richland Community College has partnered with META teletherapy to implement a comprehensive digital mental wellness platform for students.

META connects students with licensed counselors via a mobile app for confidential and secure video, voice, and chat sessions.

Students can connect to a network of licensed professionals

• META providers are available days, evenings, and weekends and accept insurance or self-pay
• Richland will cover costs for the first two studnet sessions with a META provider

META includes mental/emotional support content

• Buzz is a feature within the app pushing relevant articles, videos, and content twice per week for students

A digital marketing campaign, including student-directed email and social media posts is running to encourage students to download the app and connect with a counselor.

The META app is free to download and allows student access to providers on the platform remotely.
