Central Wyoming College Launches META’s Student Wellness Program

META Teletherapy provides students with confidential and easy access to a nationwide network of licensed providers. Central Wyoming College, a public community college serving three WY counties, has become the latest school to implement META’s student wellness program.

Central Wyoming College students can now access a marketplace of counselors through META’s mobile app. Students connect to a counselor of their choice for chat, voice, and video sessions. Students download the app, choose a provider, and receive counseling through the privacy and convenience of their smart phones. Students will have the care and support they need to overcome issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, and adjusting to the challenges facing students of higher education.

Central Wyoming College is covering the cost for counseling sessions with META providers. META allows users to filter therapists by specialty, view provider video bios, and send chat messages before receiving counseling. Providers on META’s network are available days, evenings, and weekends all year long to fit a flexible student schedule.
